Wuppergold

Big, beautiful, fluffy, golden blooms. I can’t imagine my garden without it.

Brugmansia Wuppergold was created by Dorothea Langenberg. It grows quickly and flushes beautifully.

Depending on the time of year, the color can range from the most brilliant yellow, to nearly orange.

Cyril’s Star

Cyril’s Star was hybridized by Elizabeth Fichtl and grown by Sissi Wedgwood. Cyril’s Star normally has 10 points, but can have from seven to twelve points. It’s a double, however the second skirt can be either stuffed, equal or incomplete.

I named this unusual plant for my nephew, Cyril Fletcher. We lost Cy in 2015 and we miss him terribly.

Painted Lady

If you ever see a Painted Lady brugmansia in full bloom, you’re not likely to forget it. She blooms in massive flushes. No brugmansia collection is complete without Painted Lady. Her large blooms are at least 12 inches long and always start out white, usually in the evening. By morning, those spotless white blooms have turned pink.

Depending on the time of year, the color can range from the palest of pinks in fall, to nearly red in the heat of summer.

Painted Lady was hybridized, grown and registered by Bonnie Vaughn in 2005.
